Sharannya’s Lotus Dress was inspired by the Golden yellow lotus, considered to be a sign of purity and self-regeneration. A lotus flower grows in the dirt, yet when the sunlight falls on it, it blooms beautifully.
About the designer:
Sharannya is a 3D fashion designer coming from Mumbai, India. Her love to nature is mostly where the designer draws her inspiration. Sharannya’s debut collection for DRESSX was particularly inspired by the flowers bloom, as a language of the nature powerful enough to evoke the deepest emotions. In the collection, Sharannya tried to emulate flowers at the peak of their beauty and explore what each one of them signifies.
