Clara Daguin is a couture fashion designer whose artisanal approach is based on the association of traditional savoir-faire and technology. Merging embroidery and electronics, Clara Daguin’s interactive garments speak to the symbiosis of natural and artificial we experience daily, and question what it means to be human in a tech-driven world. For her newest presentation at Paris Fashion Week, Clara Daguin created a collection of interactive luminous dresses, programmed in partnership with Google ATAP engineers using the proprietary Jacquard by Google technology. As a part of the creative experiment, Clara Daguin’s luminous collection was digitized and brought to the virtual realm in the form of 3D assets and AR looks powered by DRESSX.
