DRESSX was founded
by Daria Shapovalova and Natalia Modenova, with Julie Krasnienko joining as a founding team member, sharing a vision to revolutionize the fashion industry through digital innovation.
We started by offering a simple yet groundbreaking service: allowing users to digitally "wear" clothes in photos. This concept resonated strongly with Gen Z and Millennials, who were seeking sustainable, engaging, and digital-first fashion experiences.
As demand grew, so did our offerings. We expanded into creating augmented reality looks, on-chain fashion collectibles with numerous utilities and avatar fashion for virtual worlds. Our virtual wardrobe concept, dubbed the "metacloset," became a hit among fashion-forward digital natives.
DRESSX GEN AI was introduced
A generative AI technology allowing users to create custom digital fashion looks from text prompts or “inspiration” reference images and get virtually dressed in seconds, further blurring the lines between imagination and virtual reality.
