The kimono is a traditional form of clothing in Japan. Natalia Konopleva’s version of the kimono is presented in a modern designer interpretation. The lengthened collar of the designer’s kimono has a modern interpretation of the “sashiko” technique - a hand-made type of embroidery with stitch-made patterns. The bright lemon color illustrates Japan as the first country in the world to see the rays of the rising sun. It is complemented by a translucent dress made of romantic lace with sakura flowers. The attractive color combinations emphasize individuality and represent the atmosphere of modern Tokyo. Natalia Konopleva’s GINZA collection enables people all around the globe to experience Japanese culture.
